Using Daisy On The Road

A slow start to 2008 as far as Daisy is concerned.. It will soon be Classic Show time, the weather is already improving. I got Daisy out last weekend, just to make sure that the winter months had not been detrimental to her health (you know what its like storing your pride and joy over the winter!), and after about 10minutes of gentle persuasion, she fired in to life... coughing.. and spluttering a wee bit.. but soon purring in a way that only a side valve can :)

I also managed to track down an external sun visor. These are rare beasts to get hold of, and not only is this an original METAL version (not a fibre glass repro) I also managed to get the fixing bolts, something that normally goes AWOL with these visors.

Mint condition and rot free

Sometimes you can find something you actually want on Ebay :D

And, the fixing bolts... you would not believe the pain that some 100E owners have had to go through to get these.
